WHY DESIGN A BRIDGE LIKE OTHER BRIDGES


The design for the Paik Nam June Media Bridge in Seoul, South Korea is like no other as it integrates a park, museum, meeting place, public library, IT complex mall and also an energy saving generator. The bridge will have the capability to accommodate cars, pedestrians and bicycles as well as an integration of a museum and a library. In addition, water taxis, yachts can dock at the base of the bridge. In addition to the road and public spaces, a garden which will utilize sustainable and local resources such as natural light, natural ventilation, river and rain water is designed as part of the bridge.
